Not sure of a wood-warber's identification?
It looks similar to another species?
Feel free to see my "Warbler Tips Identification" Chart that appears as a button at my Web site:

Got wood-warbler questions? If so, I have answers for you. I'm Daniel Edelstein — biologist, birding guide, birding instructor (www.warblerwatch.com and danieledelstein@att.net) — who ponders: Are there any wonders in our world more fascinating than the elegant beauty of wood-warblers? (All photos © Martin Meyers unless otherwise noted.) By the way, my upcoming new adult college birding class is featured at: http://danielsmerrittclasses.blogspot.com/

Now Premiering: WarblerWatch
If you're a birder/birdwatcher, then there's a good chance that you enjoy wood-warblers.
BUT, there's also a LOT of bird-related information already available on the Web.
So what's cooking here that's new? Worth reading?
Answer: Perhaps your question to me about wood-warblers, as I'm answering the best ones (see latest posting).
In addition:
Here, you'll read other fresh information devoted to the lives of wood-warblers, including dialogue related to wood-warbler sightings, identification tips, anecdotes, resources, and my trips/tours.
(More details are at my web site: warblerwatch.com.......in addition to more birding information that you can download/print.)
One question before I exit: Do you know how many wood-warblers nest in the county where you reside? Feel free to post your answer below.
In my county (Marin County, near San Francisco), during most years, there's 8-10 species of nesting wood-warblers, though I sometimes go searching for other vagrant/accidental species in one of the best wayward wood-warbler viewing areas in the USA: Point Reyes National Seashore, a close drive from my residence.
