Yes, Grace (in Tulsa), I am hearing Oranged-crowned Warbler individuals singing, given they return by February annually ....(though our subspecies is a different one, typically, than the Midwest and East Coast USA one that is usually best seen in the autumn....i.e., It will soon return to breed in farther north latitudes, including Alaska).
Other wood-warbler species I've heard so far include Common Yellowthroat...and our over-wintering Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon's subspecies are the most dominant one here now) begin singing at low-level elevations soon where they are common currently....but the bulk of the ones I see now will breed elsewhere, though a few nest successfully on Mt. Tamalpais's highest points in Marin Co. where I live.
(It's always a treat to here them sing before they leave the Open Space forest bordering our residence in Novato where I live.)
Meanwhile, I'll write more soon...Feel free to let me know at DanielEdelstein@att.net if you need more information.
Of course, if you wish, eBird.org hosts information about current and recent warbler sightings for our area via the "Explore" button.
Regards, Daniel Edelstein
